Some oils which are frequently winterized to produce salad oil are: refined and lightly hydrogenated soybean oil, cottonseed oil and some varieties of rapeseed oil.

The continuous miscella winterizing process takes from 45 min to 1 hr to produce +15 hr cold test oil.
