strewnfield
An area on the surface of the earth, usually having an elongated oval shape, containing rocky fragments which detached from a disintegrating meteor as it streaked through the portion of earths atmosphere above the area.

[W]e report the detailed circumstances of the fall and the recovery of all documented Tagish Lake fragments from a strewnfield at least 16 km long and 3 to 4 km wide.
