Newspeak
a) The fictional language devised to meet the needs of in the novel Nineteen Eighty-four (George Orwell, 1949). Designed to restrict the words, and hence the thoughts, of the citizens of Oceania.
b) A highly dynamic and reflective programming language descended from Smalltalk, supporting both object-oriented and functional programming.
