a) Part of a cryptic crossword clue indicating that the letters of another word or phrase in the clue should be anagrammed.
This is really good. Esp. the beard clue, and 2D, except I dont see the purpose of the scare quotes around fantastic there must be a better anagrind for this diabolical? weird?
b) 5: results (discussion on Internet newsgroup rec.puzzles.crosswords)The surface isnt quite ideal: for the candymaker to eat the candy ... but confection is good for anagrind, I see upon checking ... same as concoction.
